Ken Robb, Associate

Ken Robb has joined Promeus as an Associate, and provides his expertise to searches in the education and broader public sectors. Ken started his career as Executive Director of the Norfolk Association for Community Living in Simcoe, Ontario, followed by a series of progressively more senior HR roles in the higher education sector spanning over a period of 31 years.

He began his college career as the Manager, Training & Development at Confederation College in Thunder Bay for six years, followed by twelve years as Director, Human Resources at Sault College in Sault Ste Marie. He subsequently became the Director, HR Services & Organizational Development at York University in Toronto for five years, and was appointed Vice President, Human Resources at Durham College (Oshawa) from 2004 to 2012.

Ken has taught college and university courses part-time for over 15 years. He has also served as a facilitator\consultant to a variety of organizations on human resource, leadership and governance issues. He has been active in a number of community organizations as a board member

Ken holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Lakehead University (Thunder Bay), an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from Lakehead University, a Masters of Arts in Philosophy from McMaster University (Hamilton), and a Masters Business Administration from Lake Superior State University (Michigan). He has also completed doctoral studies in philosophy and educational theory and attained the CHRP (Certified Human Resources Professional) designation in 1990. Ken is also certified in Alternative Dispute Resolution.
