Rachael Donovan, Associate
Rachael Donovan has been committed to college education since starting her career as a faculty member over 40 years ago. She has held progressively larger portfolios in College Administration across the country, including serving 19 years in a Senior Academic Role in Colleges in Ontario, Alberta and British Columbia, and 17 years as a Vice President Academic.
Rachael retired from Fleming College in 2010 after serving seven years as Vice President Academic and one year as the Senior Vice President for special projects. Over the past two years, she provided consulting services to Nova Scotia Community College assisting in the development of strong management team, campus culture, strategic focus and managing the day to day activities of their newest, largest flagship campus.
Rachael has a record of commitment to student success, staff development, team building, quality assurance and program development. She has chaired the ACCC VP Academy, The Ontario Co-ordinating Committee of Vice Presidents Academic and the Ontario Colleges Provincial Negotiating Team. She has been a graduate student advisor at Royal Roads University, Mentor of the Chairs Academy and the British Columbia Ministry of Social Services Mentoring Program.
Rachael has a Doctor of Philosophy in Educational Administration from the University of Alberta, and a Master of Science in Nursing Educational Administration from the University of Western Ontario. Rachael is passionate about student success and developing leaders in the College System. Her years of experience in Colleges across the country make her a valuable member of our team.
