Reporting to the Governance Table, the Executive Director will lead the implementation of the KW4 OHT Strategic Plan and maintain strong relationships with Ontario Health, the Ministries of Health and Long-Term Care, and local and regional partners. This role requires someone who can influence without formal authority, translate provincial direction into coordinated local action, and bring partners together around shared priorities.
The Executive Director will oversee a high-performing team and collaborate closely with the Primary Care Network, hospitals, home and community care, long-term care providers, municipalities and community organizations to ensure alignment, performance, and system sustainability. Priority areas include improving care in underserved neighborhoods, embedding equity in all planning and delivery, and enabling the use of data and digital tools to inform care and measure impact. With strong relationships already in place, the incoming Executive Director will be counted on to maintain momentum and shape the next chapter of regional health transformation. This includes responding to policy and funding shifts, supporting grassroots innovation, and reinforcing a culture grounded in inclusion, responsiveness, and co-design.
The ideal candidate is an experienced systems leader who brings a track record of success in complex, multi-partner environments. They are a strategic thinker who pairs vision with discipline and knows how to build alignment and momentum across sectors. Skilled in influencing, they connect people and ideas with purpose and clarity. They bring senior leadership experience in health or public service settings, with demonstrated ability in stakeholder engagement, cross-sector collaboration, and performance management. They are an inclusive communicator and relationship builder, able to engage credibly with community groups, Indigenous and equity-deserving populations, providers, and policy makers. Above all, they are driven by purpose and are motivated by the opportunity to lead meaningful change in how care is delivered.
