In a role that crosses all aspects of the care continuum, you will work collaboratively with your community and regional counterparts to collectively advance the primacy of partnership, ensuring better coordination across care, consistent with Ontario Health’s priorities. In addition, your leadership will contribute to building a culture that embraces partnerships and continues to develop academic relationships that ensure that research, practice, and clinical outcomes are setting standards for care across the region. The Physician-In-Chief is a 0.3 FTE commitment, with the balance of time focusing on clinical care and/or research.

An experienced, inclusive, and visionary leader with credentials in both medical leadership and clinical practice, you have had significant leadership contributions that have helped foster values of collaborative practice and clinical excellence. The successful candidate must be eligible for certification with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, as well as possess a Fellowship Certification in Psychiatry from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or other certification that is deemed to be equivalent.
